Terms and Conditions for 2022-2023 Level 6 Course in Counselling Supervision

Please read and retain for your records.

Allocation of places will be subject to the Tutor/s and Director of Learning’s agreement. Their decision to invite a qualified counsellor to apply for the course, once an interview has taken place, and/or to accept a qualified counsellor to the course will be final.

By joining the course and paying the deposit you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions for the course.

CB Counsellor Training Ltd reserves the right to cancel the Course if minimum numbers of 10 participants are not reached. In this event a full refund will be made.

We are unable to chase payments. It is each learner’s responsibility to ensure that their payments arrive on time. Failure to pay the deposit will see the place on the course being offered to another counsellor on our waiting list and once the course has begun learners may be asked to leave the course.

If you wish to resign from the course at any stage, please email Carol Belsey, Director of Learning. The deposit of £300 is non-refundable at all stages of the course. In addition, each study day incurs a cost (above the £300 deposit) of £100. Therefore, on the day your email resigning from the course arrives any excess money held by CB Counsellor Training Ltd on your behalf, already paid in full or by standing order will be refunded to you, minus an admin charge of £10, until Day 7. From Day 7’s training day no refunds will be made and the full fee for the course will be payable and will be retained. Please allow 7-14 days for any refund payment to be made.

If you owe CB Counsellor Training Ltd any funds an invoice will be sent to you and payment will be expected within one month. The invoice will state the terms for late payments.

No refunds will be given for individual dates missed by a participant.

A receipt will be issued for your deposit and a second one once all the balance has been paid. Receipts will be sent by email. Please retain these receipts for your records. Duplicate receipts incur an admin charge of £10 to be paid before the duplicate is made available.

Those not reaching all the criteria for the course will be awarded a certificate of attendance if they have attended 85% of the course, by CBCT Ltd, if requested. This can be converted to the course completion certificate upon completion of all the criteria, at a later date.

Assignments must be received within one year of the course but there is no time limit for supervisee and supervision logs.

The 3 Course Guides will be forwarded to you at least 2 weeks before the course starts. Please ensure you read these before the first day of the course.

Those attending less than 85% of the course will be awarded a certificate of attendance stating the hours attended, if requested, but will not be able to complete the course and receive an OCN London certificate.

All learners are to ensure they are insured to work as trainee supervisors.

We take your privacy very seriously and will only use personal information given to provide the products, services and information you have requested you have requested from us or to administer your account.

If for any reason the internet fails at the tutor or Director of Learning’s home, we will endeavour to get the event back online as soon as possible. Lost time will be made up either on the same day or at a future date.
