Our Level 7 ‘Top up’ Independent Learning Course in Supervision Practice

This ‘top up’ short independent learning course will allow you to ‘upgrade’, if you wish to, your Level 6 in Counselling Supervision to a Level 7, also accredited by OCN London. This is only available to learners who have completed our level 6 Supervision Course and will be open to you once you have passed the Level 6 Assignments. * See below.  

Cost: Currently £600. May raise in 2027/8 depending on costs.
Due by 31st December.

Open to 12 counsellors per year.

Bookings September to December.

Materials provided October or when deposit paid.

• Can take responsibility for their own learning and assignment completion.

Course outline

To pass this Level 7 you will need to:

• Pass one assignment (a 4000-word case study due at the end of May)
• Attend a 2 hour group tutorial in January
• Read the course guides
• Attend an additional 30 mins one-to-one tutorial ( if you wish)
• Read at least 10 additional resources
• Complete an additional 10 clinical practice hours with at least two supervisees
• Complete an additional 5 hours of Supervision of Supervision hours

Course joining criteria:

Completion of your Level 6 in Counselling Supervision with CBCT Ltd.

* The assignment requires a good level of written English and an ability to utilise an array of research materials and to reference these correctly using the Harvard Referencing System.  We will expect the use of at least 8- 10 resources over and above the L7 and L7’s reading list materials.

Please note: If you have been diagnosed with a condition or illness since completing our Level 6 we require that you inform us if you feel or know this will affect your ability to complete the assignment. We will book a short online meeting with you to discuss the support you feel you will require to complete the course before we offer you a place on the course.

Please advise us once you have passed your Level 6 assignments if you wish to progress to the next Level 7 cohort.
